    What’s in My Work Bag

The mystery of how I keep my work life together are about to be exposed. It’s no secret that keeping yourself organized leads to increased productivity, and productivity leads to keeping those #bossbabe heels a moving. Moving forward and crushing everyday. No, crushing everyday is not a dream. It’s a way of life and a motto I live by every single day. Types of Work Bags I have numerous work bags. I tend to get sick of the same thing over and over again really easy, so over the years I have accumulated a few work bags that I cycle through. All the bags range in size and different straps:…

    Road Trip Guide

We have taken a few road trips now this December. The longest being 15 hours from Colorado to Wisconsin. Wheww, talk about sore hinder (for those of you who don’t know what hinder is, it’s your behind, your hind-end, hinder, get it). I compiled the below Road Trip Guide, to help you on your next trip. I absolutely despise road trips, and maybe I am alone in this, but there is nothing more boring and painstaking than sitting in the car for countless hours. Personally, if a trip is going to be longer than a couple hours, it’s call a plane ticket. This doesn’t work though when you have a…

    Traveling Solo Safely

Whether you are traveling for work or traveling on a fun trip, traveling solo doesn’t have to be daunting. Some people are travel people and the thought of traveling by themselves isn’t even a thought. Some people absolutely hate traveling and it causes them a bit of anxiety. I travel at least once a month solo, if not more and it tends to not phase me. Don’t get me wrong I am not a big fan of flying as I get so motion sick, but there isn’t much you can do about it these days.  When traveling by myself there are certain things I do to make sure I am…

    Napa Bachelorette Party

You have probably heard me say this over 100 times now, but what a bachelorette party for the books. It was by far the best girls trip I have ever had and it makes me crave more. There is nothing like a good girls trip to soothe the soul. #NapaJustGotHotter was a 4 day 3 night trip.  It started out with a delicious breakfast and mimosas at Elways in DIA. 8 AM flights have nothing on me. Six of my babes and I headed from all areas of the country to SFO, where we rented a huge 15 passenger van for us and all of our bags. Let’s face it…

    Travel & Flying Secrets

Traveling can be the death of you if you aren’t prepared. Who likes traveling and flying? Who hates traveling and flying? I will be the first to tell you I don’t much like flying. It’s really not my cup of tea. Dealing with airports and 100s of people and awful food (pending the airport you are in) and more. Just really not my thing. Not to mention the turbulence which gives me extreme nausea. None of this sounds very appealing but it has to be done to get from place A to B.   I have come up with a few things that help my experience traveling be the best…

    Madison, Wisconsin- Must Visit List

Madison, Wisconsin is definitely home away from our Colorado home. For those of you who don’t know, I am a “Badger” and went to UW Madison for my Bachelors of Science degree. This past weekend I flew back for my Wedding Shower (wedding shower details here), but this post isn’t about the shower it’s to introduce you to a few of my favorites in Madison, Wisconsin. This list is by no means exhaustive but a few of my favorites and ones I definitely recommend checking out!     Indie Coffee My favorite coffee shop in Madison. I used to go to Indie Coffee with one of my best college friends…

    Vail Favorites

Vail Colorado, one of our favorite homes away from home. My fiancé grew up in Vail and introduced me to the fabulous mountains, relaxing village streets and shops early on in our relationship and what a place. It easily became a favorite of mine. There is something about the close knit community and uppity vibes that feed my soul. It’s a fabulous spot for a night or weekend getaway and that is exactly what we did this weekend. There are quite a few places in the village we love and I plan to share them all with you as our visits take us to them. This weekend we visited a…

    Go To Travel Eats

On the Road Again. Traveling for work or for personal endeavors can be a beast. The hardest part of traveling a lot is having to eat out every single meal. Why this may sound appealing to some, it has never been an appealing thing to me. Below are some of my go to travel eats to help keep me the healthiest me.   Breakfast Drink: Venti Iced Americano with an extra shot and a splash of cream. Food: Protein Box from Starbucks (hard boiled eggs, cheese, fruit and peanut butter) Cheat Food: Scone, muffin or lemon bread from Starbucks If I am at a hotel that has a breakfast bar…

    Carmel-by-the-Sea

Having the opportunity to explore Carmel-by-the-Sea this past weekend for a friends wedding weekend was such a treat. The weekend started out early, on a Friday. Upon arriving to Carmel we sat up on a patio overlooking the sea and taking in some gorgeous views and flowers, all with a glass of rosé of course. The Beach My fiancé and I next checked out the beach. It was such a magical place. I took off my rose gold Sam Eldeman booties, rolled up my pants, and ran free; free as the wind right into the water. I didn’t just run into the water once, but over and over again. There is…

    Packing for Carmel-by-the-Sea

Who out there dreads packing? I surely do. I always wait until the last minute, grab a glass of wine and charge. We are headed to a wedding in Carmel By The Sea this weekend. I am super excited, as all the research I have done makes it look GORGEOUS. Our trip is super short and basically a hop and a jump, wedding and a hop and jump back, however I plan on making the most of it. My fiancé is in the wedding, so his time is even cut shorter, but the fabulous thing is I am #womanboss and #selfconfident enough to explore on my own. I have planned…
