Napa Bachelorette: All the Planning Details

I can’t believe Napa came and went already. Time sure does fly. In fact this last year and a half engagement has gone in the blink of an eye. I can’t believe our wedding is less than 2 weeks away. This my friends is why my blog posts have been far and in between. My time lately has been consumed with the wedding. I am extremely excited to get back to posting more bliss post wedding and sharing my/our life with you.  If you don’t know my bachelorette party/trip was in Napa, CA. This trip was all the BLISS so much so I don’t think bliss even begins to describe…

    Wedding Planning De-Stress

Planning a wedding is a huge undertaking. I have absolutely LOVED planning our wedding, but this doesn’t go to say that I haven’t had any stress. The stress is there and it’s really real. If I wasn’t stressed I would probably wonder what is wrong with me. The stress isn’t bad stress, it’s the stress that pushes and drives you to get stuff done.  It’s the stress of perfection.  While a little stress in a positive way is good, you need to ensure you have ways to cope with it. Below are a few of my tips and tricks to de-stress while planning a wedding.   Self Pamper   You…

    Save the Date Logistics

Save the Date! Save the dates are yet another thing that has to get done while planning your wedding. Below are some of the tips and tricks I used when compiling our save the dates.      Picking a Time to Send Save the Dates-My Personal Thoughts I recently sent out our save the dates for our wedding in October of this year. Prior to sending them out I was debating whether I was sending them too early or if I was even behind the game. Day of Wedding Planner

I can’t tell you how amazing the wedding planning process has been. I loved wedding planning before I started, and loved it even more than I thought I could after I began. The one thing I constantly worried about early in the wedding planning process was how it all was going to be executed. The venue we choose for our wedding isn’t a one stop shop, which I love! I have been able to hand pick every vendor, down to the last piece of decor. Our wedding is a customize “Hotter” piece of work, with a lot of moving parts. How in the world was it all going to get…

    Wedding Dress Shopping

Ahhh. Oh my goodness gracious. Wedding dress shopping. Ekkkk. Have you watched “Say Yes to Dress?” I am in love with that show. All of those beautiful wedding gowns; some with twill, beading and lace; some more expensive than a car and some within reasonable range. What do you picture your wedding dress to be? I had the pleasure of wedding dress shopping this past October with family and a close friend who, lets be real here, is family. We had an absolutely fabulous day. The day started out with getting ready for the big day. I bought a cute white jumper for the day and paired one of the…

    Wedding Registry

What a busy weekend. This post was meant to go up yesterday, but my day got carried away with helping one of my long time best friends shop for #womanboss clothing and then we spent that afternoon on the patio with Rosé and working on wedding projects and started working on Save the Dates. Wow where does time go? It seems only yesterday my fiancé was down on one knee on the dock at our lake house and I was asking him “what are you doing?” Enough with my weekend and on to creating your wedding registry(s). Creating and continuing to work on our wedding registry(s) has been a blast.…
