Getting a sweat and workout on doesn’t have to be hard. You don’t have to go for a run, bike or do your stereotypical cardio just to maintain or loose weight. In face diversifying your workouts and adding weights and different body weight exercises in to your daily routines helps so much!

Exercise Programs & Apps

  • Nike Training: A fabulous app that I have had for years. There are numerous workouts that are free. They do have a premium version, which is free to use right now. Even without the free premium I would recommend this app. I have found it perfect when I am on the road traveling or we are staying with family.
  • Peloton: I personally haven’t tried this app, but numerous of my family members have. Peloton is offering their classes for free right now. My sister actually has sworn by them. She says she has woken up sore most days from the workouts.

Additional Ideas

  • Pinterest: All you have to do is search for exercise or even fitness on Pinterest and numerous exercises pull up. Better yet, you want abdominal exercises, type that in. The search options are endless.
  • Make Your Own: I have started making my own at home workouts. To keep myself accountable I have written these workouts, out. My motivation and ideas for the workouts have come from working out over the years and Pinterest as well.
  • Get Outside: Take a run in the park, ride your bike around the block, go for a walk. You not only are doing yourself good by working out, but the sunshine and fresh air is good for your physical and mental health.
