Colorado Wedding Shower

What a whirl wind these past two months have been. I was blessed to have another wedding shower last weekend and be celebrated by the best of the best in Colorado. We did a fabulous brunch at Ophelias Electric Soapbox that was a memory I will forever treasure.

The Saturday morning started out like any other with pure barre and espresso. The seemingly normal  Saturday morning soon became a bit more than any other weekend. I got dressed up in a cute lace/embroidered romper and sparkle heels and popped in the Uber to Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox in Denver.

The Decor

We were seated in the lower/basement area of Ophelias on a large table in front of a stage. It felt as if it were the evening and it was only 10AM. The table was set with sparkly gold ring confetti, flowers, fake rings and tiaras. My tiara was different than everyone else’s, my head was graced with a unicorn flower crown. I absolutely adored wearing that crown, to say it suited me well was an understatement. It fit me to a “T.” All of my ladies and I adorned ourselves with large rings and our tiaras and got started on our bottomless mimosas. They were heavenly.

My Ladies

Like any lady get together a group picture must be taken. We got a fabulous photo with the band behind us. Of course they photo bombed us, but it lent to a super fun photo.

Brunch

Brunch was a delight there are so many good options at Ophelias. I definitely could have ordered one of everything. I ended up choosing the chicken and waffles. No one was disappointed with what they ordered. Everyone’s tummies were full of delight.  Mmm.

After seeing the bachelor party table next to us take shots in the AM. My girlfriends couldn’t let the bridal shower go off without having a shot. I am not all about shots, but when they came I had to take it; oh boy.  It ended up being a mini screwdriver, so I bid it as ok. Cheers!

Wedding Shower Games

After we ate we played a fun wedding shower game of get to know the bride in the way of “would she rather.” The winning girls received nail polish that had a tag on it stating, “you nailed it.” Such a cute idea my sister put together to have a little fun.

All the BLISS

I received so many wonderful gifts during my wedding shower, but the biggest gift of all was getting together with all of my girlfriends and just having a grand old time. We ended the shower with delicious cupcakes. Again if you know me you know cupcakes are a key to my heart. It was a sweet way to end a beautiful day.
