Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Protein Balls

Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Protein Balls. What a mouth full to say, but delicious to eat. I made these protein balls the other day for a healthy, filling and sweet snack. A sweet delicious snack they are. I tend to have a large sweet tooth, which doesn’t necessarily lead me to eat the best at times. I figured these protein balls not only would suffice my sweet tooth but keep me full and away from my bad snack habits.

Protein Ball Pairings:

  • Coffee (I have done this so many times since I have made them. They are the perfect addition to your morning coffee/breakfast. When I say perfect, I mean perfect.)
  • Breakfast (If you are on the run/ extremely busy and  you think you don’t have time for breakfast, these are the perfect thing for you. Throw a couple in a container and pop them in your mouth while driving to work or dropping the kids off at school.)
  • Dessert (Anytime of day, they are good for dessert.)

Prep Time 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cups Peanut Butter
  • 1 Cup Protein Powder
  • 1/4 Cup Honey
  • 1 Cup Oats
  • 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1/4 Cup Flax Seed
  • 1/4 Cup Raw Pumpkin Seeds
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix/stir thoroughly.

  2. Once mixture is thoroughly combined. Use your hands and form into balls. I formed our protein balls into an inch diameter size, but feel free to make them smaller or larger based on your desire.

  3. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

  • If the batter is too soft (pending the type of peanut butter you use) add more protein powder to absorb.
  • If the batter doesn't want to all mix together (again pending the type of peanut butter you use) add additional peanut butter or honey.
