French Toast Bake

Whether you are hosting brunch at your house this upcoming weekend or taking it easy with your significant other or friends this french toast bake is the perfect and easy way to indulge everyone’s palates. I have the largest sweet tooth under the sun and so throwing a little breakfast sweet into the weekend…bon appetit. The french toast bake can easily be thrown together in a few minutes and will leave everyone’s bellies full and satisfied. It’s an absolute fabulous compliment to your morning coffee.

French Toast Bake Ingredients

Add ins:
  • Fresh fruit
  • Whip cream
  • Streusel
  • Powdered sugar

French Toast Bake

Ingredients
  • 1 Loaf Challah bread
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 Cup milk
  • 1 Tbsp white sugar
  • 1 Tsp flour
  • 1 ½ Tsp nutmeg
  • 1 ½ Tsp cinnamon
  • 2 Tsp vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • Cinnamon & Nutmeg to sprinkle
  • Butter & Syrup
Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 375°
  2. Cube the Challah bread and set aside.
  3. Combine eggs, milk, white sugar, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla. Wisk.
  4. Add in bread to french toast batter. Thoroughly mix.
  5. Grease a 8×8 glass pan. Pour in the french toast mixture.
  6. Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  8. Top with butter and syrup.
  9. Serve.
